1) Do you travel to the Big Island for live wedding painting?
Yes. I travel from Maui to paint weddings on the Big Island, and I’ll include a clear travel line item in your quote. Travel expenses apply for events outside of Maui and typically cover airfare, lodging if needed, and a rental vehicle.
2) How much does a live wedding painter cost on the Big Island?
My live wedding painting packages range from $1,800 to $5,200, depending on canvas size, how many hours I paint live, and how much studio refinement is included. Once I know your date, venue area (Kona, Waimea, Hilo, etc.), and the moment you want painted, I’ll recommend the best fit.
3) What moment is best to paint for a Big Island wedding?
Most couples choose the ceremony for the full atmosphere, or a first look for an intimate, couple-focused scene. If you’re planning sunset portraits with those Big Island skies, I can also build that light into the final artwork using reference photos, while keeping the live portion aligned with your timeline.
4) When will we receive the finished painting?
I paint a strong, polished version live during your wedding so guests can enjoy it, then I complete the refinement in my studio. Most paintings are delivered in about 4 to 8 weeks, depending on canvas size and my production schedule, and I’ll keep you updated along the way.
