For me, love and art are inseparable. Every brushstroke carries love, beauty, and joy, and that is what lets me forge real connections with people and share something that words can't quite reach.
My evolution as an artist has been profoundly shaped by my relationship with my wife, Vanessa. Her presence moved me from a self-focused artist to someone more spiritual and open-hearted, and that change lives in every piece I create. When we settled in Maui, I came to understand how beauty and art feed each other here. The islands offer a constant source of inspiration, and the art that grows from them celebrates that beauty in return. It is a living tradition, always evolving, that continues to move both residents and visitors. This relationship between love, place, and painting is at the heart of my live wedding painting work in Hawaiʻi.
