ONE THOUGHTFUL PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE
THE QUESTION BEHIND EVERY GUEST LIST
“Will everyone get a portrait?”
It’s one of the first questions I hear.
Whether you’re inviting 75 guests or planning an event for 500+,
you want to know your guests will be taken care of.
The answer starts with a portrait plan: whom you want to receive artwork, what can be painted live, and what can be created before or after the celebration.
Guests want a portrait. They also want a portrait they love.
THE SYSTEM
DESIGNED AROUND THE ART
More painting. Less waiting.
The Portrait System separates waiting for a portrait from having a portrait created.
Guests take their reference photograph and return to the celebration. Their image enters an organized portrait workflow while I continue painting.
That means less time standing in line and more time enjoying the wedding, dinner, conversation, music, or dance floor.
01
Portrait Booth
Guests take the reference photograph I will use to create their artwork.
02
Artist Queue
Selected portrait references enter an organized painting queue.
03
Live Painting
I concentrate on what you hired me to do: create each portrait by hand.
04
Party Gallery
Guests can follow the progress of portraits without repeatedly returning to the artist station.
05
Portrait Fulfillment
Finished and post-event portraits can be tracked so the event team knows what is ready, pending, and delivered.
The technology manages the workflow. I create the art.
QUALITY AND SPEED
THE ARTWORK SETS THE PACE
The real question goes beyond
“How fast can you paint?”
A higher portrait count can look like the obvious choice. But the style, detail, and care behind each portrait matter, too.
My watercolors, marker sketches, and acrylic paintings include facial features and individual character. I want your guests to recognize themselves and feel that their portrait was made especially for them.
Those details take time. So I’ve developed other ways to serve more guests: better reference capture, an organized queue, and painting time beyond the party.
Your guests don’t just want a portrait. They want a portrait they love.
Recognizable faces. Individual character. Artwork worth keeping.
BEFORE + DURING + AFTER
The party is one part of the portrait plan.
Not every portrait has to be painted during the event.
We can plan around three stages to give more of your guests meaningful artwork.
01
Before the event
VIPs, executives, speakers, the wedding party, or family members can be painted from photographs provided ahead of time. Priority portraits can be ready before guests arrive.
A HEAD START FOR YOUR PRIORITY GUESTS
02
During the celebration
Guests use the Portrait Booth to provide their reference photos. I paint throughout the event, and finished portraits can be delivered as they’re completed.
LIVE ART AT THE HEART OF THE PARTY
03
After the last dance
When your package includes additional portraits, remaining selected guests can be painted from their event photographs afterward. Organized records help the event team coordinate delivery.
MORE PORTRAITS, WITH A DELIVERY PLAN
MORE PORTRAITS, WITH A DELIVERY PLAN
Your package includes agreed portrait quantities, priority guests, pre-event and post-event artwork, and delivery arrangements.
THE GUEST EXPERIENCE
TAKE YOUR PHOTO. GET BACK TO THE PARTY.
Your place in the queue.
Without staying in line.
Guests don’t need to remain beside me while I work. They can enjoy dinner, connect with colleagues, or head back to the dance floor while their portrait takes shape.
-
Take a reference photo at the Portrait Booth.
-
Enter the portrait queue under the event’s portrait plan.
-
Return to the celebration.
-
Check the Party Gallery for progress.
-
Pick up the artwork when it’s ready.
A photo booth with a purpose
The Portrait Booth can be fun in itself, but its real purpose is much more important: it gives me reliable reference photographs while allowing guests to keep enjoying the event.
THE PARTY GALLERY
Your portrait has a journey.
A clear view of each stage, so guests can check without returning to the artist’s station.
-
IN QUEUE
Your photograph has been received.
-
IN PROGRESS
I’m painting your portrait.
-
DONE
Your artwork is finished.
-
DELIVERED
Your portrait has been received.
BUILT FOR LARGE CORPORATE EVENTS
Hundreds of guests.
A thoughtful plan
for the details.
At a large activation, creating the portraits is only part of the work. The event team also needs to know whose artwork is finished, what remains to be painted, and what has already been received.
The private fulfillment tools help authorized staff coordinate the artwork, while my Artist Dashboard tracks the painting process. The same care goes into organizing the experience as creating it.
-
01. Know whose portrait is whose.
Keep reference photographs and artwork organized for the event team.
-
02. See what’s finished and what remains.
Track the painting process and portraits selected for post-event completion.
-
03. Coordinate the handoff.
Check delivery status and use the event’s agreed process to get artwork to its guest.
QUALITY + CAPACITY
A better way to care
for more of your guests.
We manage capacity through planning and organization, while preserving the details that make each portrait personal.

Additional agreed portraits can be completed from photographs captured at the event.
VIP portraits in advance
Priority guests can be painted ahead of time as part of your portrait plan.
Organized fulfillment

THE ART STILL COMES FIRST
TECHNOLOGY BEHIND THE SCENES
The system exists so I can spend more time painting.
Technology isn’t the experience.
The art is.
The Portrait Booth, Artist Dashboard, Party Gallery, and fulfillment tools take care of repetitive logistics behind the scenes.
Every finished portrait is still created by hand, one person at a time.
No automated portrait generator.
No AI-created guest artwork.
No replacing the artist with a machine.
Just a better system supporting the handmade experience.
The technology manages the queue.
I create the art.

FOR COUPLES, HOSTS & EVENT PLANNERS

Your plan might focus on as many portraits as possible live, an agreed portrait for every guest in a specific group, or a combination of painting before, during, and after the event.
How many guests would you like me to take care of?
Tell me your event date, location, guest count, portrait style, and the experience you have in mind.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Live Guest Portrait System work?
Guests take a reference photo at the Portrait Booth and then return to the celebration instead of waiting beside the artist. Their photograph enters an organized portrait queue while I continue creating each portrait by hand. Guests can follow the progress through the event’s Party Gallery and collect their artwork when it is ready.
Will every guest receive a portrait?
That depends on your guest count, event duration, portrait style, and the package we design together. For larger events, we can combine portraits created before the event, live portraits during the celebration, and additional portraits completed afterward from photographs captured at the event.
The goal is to care for more guests without sacrificing the detail and personality of the artwork.
Do guests have to wait in line while their portrait is being painted?
No. That is one of the main advantages of the Portrait System.
Guests provide their reference photograph, enter the portrait queue, and return to dinner, dancing, conversation, or the event itself while I paint.
Are the portraits actually painted by hand?
Yes. Every finished portrait is individually created by hand by Ariel Quiroz.
The technology only helps organize reference photographs, the painting queue, portrait status, and delivery. There is no AI-generated artwork or automated portrait generator.
What portrait styles are available?
The system can be used with my three primary Live Guest Portrait styles:
-
Watercolor portraits
-
Marker sketches
-
Acrylic paintings on canvas
Each medium has a different painting speed, appearance, and portrait capacity, so we can choose the best option for your event and guest count.
What is the Portrait Booth?
The Portrait Booth is a simple photo station used to capture reliable reference photographs for the artwork.
Instead of asking guests to remain posed beside me while I paint, I can work from their photograph while they continue enjoying the celebration.
What is the Party Gallery?
The Party Gallery allows guests to follow the progress of their portrait without repeatedly returning to the artist station.
Portraits can move through stages such as In Queue, In Progress, Done, and Delivered, making the experience easier to follow throughout the event.
Is guest information private?
Yes. Guest contact information used for portrait organization and delivery is kept separate from the public Party Gallery.
Private fulfillment information is intended only for authorized event organizers or staff responsible for coordinating portrait delivery.
What happens if a portrait is not finished during the event?
If your package includes post-event portraits, selected portraits can be completed afterward using the reference photographs captured at the event.
The Portrait System keeps those guests and their artwork organized so completed portraits can be matched with the correct recipient and delivered according to the plan established for your event.
Can VIP portraits be prepared before the event?
Yes. Family members, wedding-party members, executives, speakers, VIP guests, or other priority attendees can be painted from photographs provided in advance.
This creates a head start and allows more painting time to be dedicated to other guests during the event.
Is the Portrait System good for large corporate events?
Yes. It was designed specifically to make Live Guest Portraits easier to manage at weddings, corporate activations, conferences, and large celebrations.
For events with hundreds of attendees, the system helps organize reference photographs, identify priority guests, track portrait progress, and coordinate the delivery of finished and post-event artwork.
How many portraits can you create during my event?
Capacity depends on the portrait medium, number of hours, guest flow, and the level of detail you want in the artwork.
Rather than simply trying to paint as fast as possible, I design the portrait plan around both quality and capacity. Once I know your guest count and event timeline, I can recommend the best approach.
Can the Portrait System be customized for my event?
Yes. Every event is different.
Your portrait plan can be built around your guest count, VIPs, event duration, portrait medium, live painting capacity, and whether you would like portraits created before or after the celebration.
Do you provide the Portrait System only on Maui?
Maui is my home base, but Live Guest Portraits and the Portrait System are available for weddings and events throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
Travel requirements can be included when planning events on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, Lānaʻi, and other locations.
How do I plan the right portrait experience for my event?
Start with your event date, location, estimated guest count, portrait style, and number of hours.
From there, I can help determine the best combination of live painting, priority portraits, pre-event artwork, and post-event portraits for your celebration.
Tell me your guest count. Let’s design the experience.
